FIRST STAGE OF JAQUET DROZ’S JOURNEY "STORY OF THE UNIQUE " IN RUSSIA

Until September 22, Lobachevsky Plaza Fashion Gallery hosts the exhibition devoted to the 280th anniversary of Jaquet Droz brand.

Today, Jaquet Droz exhibition travels the world demonstrating its new creations, just like its famous founder Pierre Jaquet Droz (1721-1790) did in the 18th century. This long-term campaign is associated with the 280th anniversary of the house. The “Story of the Unique " mobile exhibition has finally come to Russia, namely, Nizhny Novgorod. This exhibition is focused on the three main pillars of the brand: Ateliers Art, Automata and the Grande Seconde.

The ceremonial opening was held on September 13 and was attended by the brand manager, Renata Akhmetshina. The exhibition in Lobachevsky Plaza is open until September 22 and features the majority of new collections of the Watchmaking House from La Chaux-de-Fonds, some of them being shown in Nizhny Novgorod for the first time. For example, the unique automaton made of meteorite — the Loving Butterfly Automaton.
